Police Sketch Bears Strange Resemblance To T.I., According To Twitter

Twitter users found a police sketch released yesterday looked an awful lot like T.I. Yesterday, Fox 5 Atlanta reported on an attempted abduction in Atlanta, sharing a police sketch of the man in question. The picture drew a fair amount of attention on Twitter, unfortunately not to bring awareness to a dangerous threat in the neighborhood, but instead the drawing's strange resemblance to rapper T.I. The image was passed around on social media, with users commenting on the coincidental look-a-like. While it's not really a subject to joke about, it's easy to see the comparison. Just to be clear, it goes without saying that T.I. didn't actually have anything to do with the incident. Take a look at the tweets from users below. Do you see any resemblance between the sketch and the ATL rapper? Meanwhile, T.I. is said to be working on his 10th studio album, which -- last we heard -- is set to be titled, The Dime Trap.

Jay Z Caved And Got An Instagram Account

Give the homie @hovsince96 a follow. Jay Z finally caved and got an Instagram account, opting for the handle @hovsince96. He dedicated his inaugural post with a tribute to Michael Jackson, who would have turned 57 years old today. The picture depicts a younger Jay Z rocking a Latrell Sprewell jersey and posing with the late singer. “Happy Birthday to the King! This may be my first and last post," he wrote. Jay Z isn't much of a Twitter guy either, except for that time when he rattled off an extensive Twitter defense of Tidal. As of press time, it's been three hours since Jay Z's post and he's already racked up 70,000 Instagram followers

J Cole Brings Out Jay-Z, Big Sean, & Drake In Fayetteville

J Cole had some surprises in store for the hometown crowd. J. Cole has single-handedly put Fayetteville, NC on the map, and his homecoming concert tonight at Crown Coliseum was always going to be a feel-good event. But Jermaine was not alone. He brought reinforcements. Jay-Z and Big Sean joined J Cole on stage to perform "IDFWU," "Clique" and more before Drake showed up to perform "Energy," "Know Yourself," and other tracks from IYRTITL. Others who made appearances to support Cole on his big night were fellow "Forest Hills Drive" tour acts Jeremih, YG, Bas, Cozz, and Omen.

Tinashe Collaborates With Boi-1da, Travi$ Scott, Hit-Boy & More For New Album

Tinashe collaborates with Travi$ Scott, Hit-Boy, Boi-1da and more on her upcoming sophomore album. Tinashe's quickly becoming the next big pop star. The girl has been touring the world with Nicki Minaj, as part of the opening acts on "The Pinkprint" tour, and soon she'll be joining Katy Perry for Perry's South American tour. The singer is always on her grind, needless to say, and after releasing her debut album Aquarius to positive reviews in 2014, she's quickly returning in the Fall for a sophomore effort. She's already recorded thirty records for it. In a new interview with Billboard, Tinashe spoke on the forthcoming album and the contributors she's already locked in. Tinashe reveals she's turning to The Weeknd collaborator Max Martin, as well as Dr. Luke, for the new album, obviously eyeing pop stardom. "I don't see myself as an urban niche act," she says. "I want to have mainstream success that doesn't feel forced or label-made." She's also worked with Travi$ Scott and Hit-Boy on a record called "Joyride," as well as Boi-1da on "Party Favors." We'll see the return of Dev Hynes on the as-of-yet-untitled LP, as well as producer Nic Nac. RCA is planning to release the album in November,

Common Weighs In On Drake & Serena Hooking Up

Common gives Drake and Serena Williams his blessing. Back when the Common-Drake beef was happening, it was rumored that tennis player Serena Williams played a part-- she was coupled up with Common before the two parted ways, and then she reportedly linked up with Drizzy. Common later admitted that Serena was indeed the fueling factor, saying, "So unfortunately the war might have been over a girl, but at the time I never said that." Now that Drake and Serena may be rekindling their relationship, at least for that one time they were spotted making out at the back of restaurant, how does Common feel about it? Will old beef also be rekindled? Common was approached by TMZ, and he had nothing but nice things to say about Serena and Drake. The two have Com's blessing, "Serena is a friend of mine, as long as she happy I'm good. We dated, that's done, that's been done a long time ago, so it's now like we friends." He added a second time for good measure, "As long as she happy, I'm good."

Rita Ora Debuts New Song "Religion" With Wiz Khalifa, Fuels Dating Rumors

Wiz Khalifa and Rita Ora looked awful couple-y last night. Still in Los Angeles following his recent hoverboard incident at LAX, Wiz Khalifa stopped by Rita Ora's "Body On Me" tour performance at El Rey Theater. He joined her on stage to debut their new joint single "Religion," and afterwards they both posted saucy pics of them posing together to Instagram, fueling rumors that they are currently dating. "YOU ARE....making me your religion... @mistercap #tonight #LA," wrote Ora. "Of course I'll come see you perform," wrote Wiz. Neither party has confirmed that they are dating but they look awfully couple-y on stage and in the photos. Occam's razor... something's up.

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West To Receive $440k Settlement From Leaked Engagement Video

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have successfully sued YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley for leaking their engagement video. Two years ago, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West sued the co-founder of YouTube, Chad Hurley, for leaking footage of their lavish engagement through his new venture MixBit. Hurley reportedly "manipulated" his way into AT&T Park in San Francisco, where the engagement took place, in front of Kanye and Kim's close friends and family. Although he had signed a confidentiality agreement, that didn't stop him from secretly filming the proposal and then leaking the video online-- he did receive a good fifteen minutes of fame, though. The issue has finally been settled, and the lawsuit will be dismissed as long as Hurley forks over $440,000 within the next few days.

Travis Scott's "Rodeo" Tracklist Surfaces Online

A fan got his hands on a physical copy of Travis Scott's "Rodeo" album and shared the project's tracklist in the process. On September 4, Travis Scott’s highly anticipated debut album, Rodeo, will finally be made available for the world to hear. Led by the previously-heard singles "3500" & "Antidote," we now know what the rest of the tracklist will look like thanks to a fan who got his hands on a physical copy of the album from Target on Tuesday. Laced with 14 tracks (16 on the deluxe), Rodeo will come listed with no features on the back cover, even though we know 2 Chainz & Future are featured on “3500” and the front confirms more guest appearances from Kanye West, The Weeknd, & Toro Y Moi (see gallery above). From what we’ve heard though, the track “Pray 4 Love” will feature The Weeknd and “Wasted” is the previously leaked “Drunk” featuring Young Thug.

Is Jay Rock's "90059" Dropping Next Week?

It looks like Jay Rock's sophomore album "90059" is only weeks away from dropping. Jay Rock has decided to take a unique approach with the release strategy for his sophomore album 90059. Instead of a concrete release date, Jay Rock & TDE are allowing the fans to determine when we’ll hear the long-awaited album by the amount of pre-orders it reaches on iTunes. Nevertheless, it looks like the goal must be really close to being reached, because a release date has just surfaced online tonight. According to Best Buy’s website, Jay Rock’s sophomore album, 90059, will be dropping in stores on September 11, with digital copies coming a week earlier on September 4th, aka next Friday. Led by the previously heard singles “Gumbo,” “Money Trees Deuce,” & the title track “90059,” Jay Rock’s sophomore album is shaping up to be his best body of work to date. Look for guest features from Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Isaiah Rashad, Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q, and more.

The Weeknd, ASAP Rocky, Pharrell To Perform At MTV VMAs 2015

Check out the initial list of VMA performers. With his album release set for this Friday and plenty of hits on the Billboard chart, The Weeknd is having a pretty solid week. He'll cap things off by performing on the MTV Video Music Awards this week, which should be a pretty eventful night. As we already knew, Miley Cyrus will be acting as the host at this year's event, which is sure to have people talking on its own. Also, the award for Video Of The Year should serve as some interesting TV, as Nicki Minaj's absence from the ballot is what sparked her criticism of the VMAs, and ultimately had Taylor Swift interjecting inappropriately. Surely, if Swift wins, she'll be honoring Minaj in one way or another. Aside from the drama, the newest update comes with the announcement of the acts that will be performing, and of course, Abel is among those set to grace the stage. Other performers will include Pharrell, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Demi Lovato, and A$AP Rocky, though he'll be stuck assisting Twenty One Pilots (already getting shudders thinking of the Kendrick x Imagine Dragons performance).

50 Cent Speaks On Sha Money XL Fallout; Sha Money Responds

50 Cent speaks on the fallout with G-Unit partner/founder Sha Money XL. Sha Money later responds. 50 Cent is never afraid to voice his opinion, and on Monday afternoon he did just that on a topic he’s kind of shied away from in the past. Speaking on the Hang w/ app again, Fif was asked about the relationship between him and his former G-Unit “partner” Sha Money XL, among many other things. Speaking on their history, 50 blamed part of their feud on financial disagreements and Sha Money becoming too greedy when money starting rolling in. “When the money came, when the check came, Sha [Money XL] started going like everybody else, just started reaching in my pockets,” 50 Cent says. “Trying to get the money, as much money as they could get. He charged the most he’s every charged for a track for ‘Blood Hound’ on Get Rich or Die Tryin'.” “I offered him overhead, so he can have his own office space and build a staff for Money Management and all that s**t. He never was with that, so he never did anything,” Fif says. “Next thing you know, he called and he was looking for my blessings and he was taking a job over at Def Jam.” Along with all the Sha Money talk, Fif went on to say that he’s been working with ATL producers Sonny Digital, London On Da Track, Zaytoven, 808 Mafia, and Don Cannon on his upcoming Street King Immortal.

Kendrick Lamar's "Alright" Inspires College Scholarship For Students

Kendrick Lamar's "Alright" record has inspired a college scholarship for high school students. Inspired by the teacher who used Kendrick Lamar’s TPAB lyrics in his English class a few months back, a Philadelphia website, ogeewoogee.com, has decided to create an annual “Be Alright” scholarship fund for the students at High Tech High School in New Jersey. The contest is giving students an opportunity to win a $1500 college scholarship that will go toward books or tuition. How do you enter and win? Students must send in a 2-3 minute video that explains the positive aspects of hip-hop and showcasing their own individual talents. The videos can then be voted through oogeewoogee Facebook page

French Montana & 50 Cent Exchange More Vodka Jabs On Instagram

French Montana & 50 Cent aren't done yet. Last episode, French Montana incurred the wrath of his old nemesis 50 Cent by throwing out a box of unopened Effen bottles into the garbage. The battle between Effen and Ciroc continues to rage in the public arena of Instagram. This time, 50 fired back with a picture of French (incidentally taken during Diddy's 2014 commencement speech at Howard) accompanied with the text, "When you realize Effen vodka taste better than Ciroc. But U Diddy's bitch." French refused to back down, reaffirming his allegiance to Ciroc during a show in Connecticut over the weekend. "You know I'm a Ciroc boy, right... We don't fuck with that Effen vodka."

Raekwon Wants To Make A Wu-Tang Biopic

Raekwon is down for a Wu-Tang flick. By nearly quadrupling its budget in two weeks, "Straight Outta Compton" has demonstrated to studio execs that rap biopics can be extremely profitable, thus opening the door for movies about groups like the Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, Run-DMC, & The Beastie Boys. Raekwon, for one, wants to make a Wu-Tang movie happen. "When we make a Wu movie, bet your ass its gonna be serious," he said at his shoe release in Manhattan this week. "Because we gotta tell the truth. And I think that's what I love about the 'Straight Outta Compton' movie is that they told the truth. When we do get to that level and it happens, it has to be the real story. It's gonna be an interesting one, cause I said - RZA hit the lotto one day. He knew who he had, but he didn't know what he had. So let's keep it right there." Raekwon has a documentary coming out soon called "The Purple Files" commemorating the 20th anniversary of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. While there are no official plans for a Wu-Tang picture yet, "Straight Outta Compton" had the full support of Dr. Dre & Ice Cube, and if Raekwon can round up a few Wu-Tang Clan members to help him pitch the movie to studios, it could become a real possibility.

ASAP Rocky Talks Respect For Tyler, The Creator & Recording "Electric Body" With ScHoolboy Q

ASAP Rocky shares some thought on his upcoming tour with Tyler, The Creator, and his stoned studio sessions with ScHoolboy Q. ASAP Rocky recently announced a co-headlining tour with Tyler, The Creator, but so far, we hadn't really heard his thoughts on hitting the road with the Odd Future wildman. In a new interview with Revolt, Rocky spoke of the general respect he has for Tyler as a renaissance man. "I fuck with Tyler's whole movement," he said. "His aesthetic, what he does -- directs his own videos, produces his own beats, designs his clothes, ran his crew for a while, ran companies and stuff like that. Just being a fellow artist I respect that. Later on, Pretty Flacko shared his favorite recording session from his recent album, ALLA. His answer was quick, and seemed to be based more on the antics that ensued during the process than the actual music being laid down. "Probably 'Electric Body,' with Schoolboy," Rocky said with a stoned giggle. "Schoolboy a fool man. That motherfucker was in there smoking big-ass paper blunts and shit. Old-ass man and shit. Granddaddy Q. Shout out to my boy."

iLoveMakonnen Announces New Album

Makonnen plans to drop "I Love Makonnen 2" in October. During his set at the Hot 100 Festival this afternoon, iLoveMakonnen announced that he'll be releasing an album in October 2015, according to a report from Billboard. Makonnen sent out a semi-cryptic pair of tweets earlier this month, suggesting that he plans to drop a project called I Love Makonnen 2 in October. He dropped I Love Makonnen as a mixtape last July and then rereleased it in December after "Tuesday" got remixed by Drake and blew up. His most recent project Drink More Water 5 was a bit of bust, hopefully he can recapture the magic of ILM in its sequel.

Fetty Wap Scoffs At Rumors He Was Jumped In DC

Fetty Wap had an amazing response to reports he had been robbed at a club last night. This morning, MediaTakeOut reported that Fetty Wap had been jumped and robbed at Stadium nightclub in DC, suggesting Fetty had his chain taken and some of his dreads ripped out (as you likely know, they're not real). It didn't take long for the rapper, who currently has FOUR singles on the Hot 100, to respond, calling MTO out for what he claimed were false reports. "I just heard that somebody pulled my fucking hair out and I got robbed," he said in a video posted to Instagram, pointing towards his untouched dreads and a pile of racks by his side. "Bitch, where? Let me know. Let me know. Tell me. Please." His caption for the clip was also pretty straight to the point -- "@mediatakeout suck my dick 💯😂🙌" Fetty is currently on Chris Brown's One Hell Of A Nite tour, but with his growing catalog of hits, it shouldn't be long before he's on his own tour.

Kanye West Brings Out Rihanna At FYF Fest

Rihanna performed "All Of The Lights" and "Four, Five Seconds" with Kanye West at last night's FYF Fest. Frank Ocean's cancellation of his headlining FYF Fest performance is just one of the ways he's disappointed fans recently (where's the album?), but luckily, the proven showman Kanye West stepped in for Ocean, and made sure to make up for his absence with a special surprise for the crowd -- Rihanna. RiRi made two appearances during Ye's set, first for their monster-hit, "All Of The Lights," and later for an intimate performance of "Four, Five, Seconds," where the singer got right up in the faces of the audience. Overall, we're sure even the biggest Frank Ocean stans left satisfied.

Followers of 50 Cent and Diddy on Instagram know that they are currently embroiled in a bitter vodka war, with 50's Effen vodka dueling it out against Diddy's Ciroc. Recently things have escalated, with 50 using the hashtag #nopuffyjuice to encourage his fans to boycott Ciroc. Now French Montana has entered the fray and aligned himself firmly in the camp of Puff "Ciroc Obama" Daddy. It all started when DJ Spinking posted a video of French making some sarcastic remarks regarding Effen. “Shout out to Effen vodka," he said. "That shit kind of watered down, but I love it.” Six hours later, 50 reposted the video and implied that that French's IG stunt was the brainchild of Diddy, French's boss at Bad Boy Records. This seemed to strike a nerve with French, who doubled down by posting a video of him dumping a box of unopened Effen bottles in the garbage, proclaiming, "This what I feel about your bullshit."

Wiz Khalifa Arrested For Riding Hoverboard At Airport

Wiz Khalifa detained at LAX. Wiz Khalifa was arrest Saturday afternoon at LAX for refusing to dismount his hoverboard. Footage reveals Wiz arguing with police before getting slammed to the ground by several cops, repeatedly urging him to "stop resisting." Wiz was in high spirits as he returned to the United States after a brief European tour, until his run in with the law. He was eventually freed but doesn't seem too happy about the incident. "All because I didn't want to ditch the technogy [sic] everyone will be using in the next 6 months," he wrote on Twitter. "Do what you want kids."

T.I. Owes $4.5 Million In Back Taxes

Uncle Sam hits T.I. with back to back liens totaling $4.5 million. T.I. has been neglecting to pay his taxes, and Uncle Sam has taken notice. According to the Daily Mail, the IRS filed a pair of liens against the King of the South totaling $4.5 million. The first lien was filed against T.I. and his wife Tiny, requesting $1,397,283.47 in unpaid taxes from 2012. The second was filed against only T.I., for $3,173,476.39 in unpaid taxes from 2013. T.I. appears to be all square taxes from 2014. He's managed to stay out of legal trouble for a couple years, let's hope he can appease the tax man in due time and get back to finishing up The Dime Trap.

Universal Denies Rumors Of Snoop Dogg & Tupac-centric Sequel To "Straight Outta Compton"

Despite Daz Dillinger's claims, Universal says there are no plans to make an official sequel to "Straight Outta Compton." With the introduction of a few familiar faces in the film's final third, it seemed inevitable that Straight Outta Compton would spawn some sort of spin-off that followed the likes of Snoop Dogg and Tupac. This hunch was seemingly confirmed yesterday when Daz Dillinger spoke directly to TMZ, suggesting a proper sequel to the popular film was already planned, and would follow, Snoop, The Dogg Pound, and 2pac's careers. While we wanted to believe the news, it seems even if there is some truth to it, it certainly won't be a part of the Straight Outta Compton universe. “At this time there are no plans for a Straight Outta Compton sequel,” Universal told Entertainment Weekly. The publication also reached out to Ice Cube, who confirmed that he had not given the green light to any type of subsequent film. Strangely, Daz's report explicitly said that Cube was behind the idea. We're sure this won't be the end of the discussion, and judging by the success of the film, some similar projects are bound to pop up either way.

Police Interrupted Waka Flocka Flame's "Workin" Video Shoot

Waka Flocka's "Workin" video shoot was crashed by cops after neighbors complained about the noise. There's a part in Waka Flocka Flame's excellent new track "Workin" where he raps, "We're the young'ns going crazy shooting cops." In footage acquired by TMZ, you can hear Waka and a bunch of others rap this line during the song's video shoot last night... just before the police show up. The gossip site says they were called in by neighbors who complained about the shoot's volume and the audible profanity in the track. Despite the song's lyrics, Waka and his team proved themselves to be law abiding citizens, because they had all the correct permits to shoot the video at the location in question. No arrests were made, and the video shoot was allowed to go on after Big Homie Flock agreed to turn down the volume.

Rick Ross Getting Sued For $55,000 By Party Promoters

Rick Ross didn't tweet/gram about their party enough. Promotional group Conexts is suing Rick Ross for $55,000 plus damages for not sufficiently promoting their Super Bowl party, per their agreement. The group planned to throw a party on January 30 at the Scottsdale Mall Amphitheater. According to TMZ, Ross was supposed to post daily on social media about the event for two weeks but only posted once (see his post below), and the event was cancelled due to meager ticket sales. Rick got paid $55,000 upfront and was slated to receive an additional $55,000 after the party. Given that one promotional tweet from Lebron James' account is worth $140,000, they may have been underpaying him. But they're coming for that money regardless.

Beanie Sigel Weighs In On The Meek Mill & AR-AB Situation

Beanie Sigel calls the Meek x Drake beef "gay." Former Roc-A-Fella artist & Philadelphia OG Beanie Sigel definitely knows a thing or two about real rap beefs, so on Thursday afternoon he decided to voice his opinion & give advice to those involved in the recent Meek Mill, Drake, and AR-AB situation. Taking to Instagram, Beanie not only called the beef between Meek & Drake “gay,” but he said he could care less about what initially incited everything, he just doesn’t want to see any casualties come from it. “Somebody mite die over this stupid shit.. it won't be Ar.,Meek, or Drake.. it's going to be one of the entourage ... Somebody going to move out to prove they loyalty to something that's not loyal to them "stupidity " somebody dies somebody in jail for life over what.” Giving his advice on the situation, Beanie spoke directly to his Philly homies, telling Meek to “tighten his circle and get rid of the yes man,” and AR to “not sacrifice something or someone over this gay shit.”

Daz Dillinger Says There Will Be A "Straight Outta Compton" Sequel Focusing On Tupac & Snoop Dogg

"Straight Outta Compton" "sequel, of sorts" is set to focus on Snoop Dogg and Tupac, according to Daz Dillinger. Very soon after a huge weekend for "Straight Outta Compton," it's become apparent that the film will set off a wave of additional rap biopics in Hollywood. The film has proven to studio executives that the genre can in fact be more profitable than, say, the movie "Notorious" was, and now rappers seem to be clamoring to get their stories told on the big screen. Earlier this week, Master P announced he was casting a film about his and No Limit's rise to fame, and now Dogg Pound veteran Daz Dillinger claims that a "Straight Outta Compton" "sequel, of sorts" is in the works. Speaking to TMZ, Daz said the film will mostly follow Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Nate Dogg, Kurupt, Warren G and himself, and is tentatively titled "Dogg Pound 4 Life." Dr. Dre and Ice Cube won't be involved in the production side of things this time, but Daz said Cube gave the film his "stamp of approval." Do you think it can live up to the quality of its predecessor?

Eazy-E Covers VIBE

VIBE awards its latest cover to Eazy-E in honor of "Straight Outta Compton." Because of the opening of "Straight Outta Compton," the former members of N.W.A have been drawing more attention than usual, some good and some bad. After Ice Cube and Dr. Dre covered Rolling Stone's most recent issue, hip hop mag VIBE has given its latest cover to the late Eazy-E, who appears over the title "The Ruthless Life Of An American Gangster." Journalist Keith Murphy interviewed E's friends and family for the article, which you can read excerpts of below, and the full thing here. Lil Eazy-E on his father's legacy: “There has been a blatant level of disrespect for my father in the music business,” says Eazy’s sonin a serious tone. “It’s a long time coming, but people are finally acknowledging who he was and what he did for this game.” Ice Cube on the film: “I didn’t think a studio would have the courage to make [Straight Outta Compton]… not the way I wanted it made,” admits an in-a-daze Cube to VIBE. He is holding court at the Beverly Hills’ regal Four Seasons Hotel during a manic press day. A primary producer on Straight Outta Compton alongside Dre, Eazy’s widow Tomica Woods-Wright and the film’s veteran director F. Gary Gray, the Tinsel Town powerhouse is still getting used to the reality that the hell-raising story of N.W.A. has been given the Hollywood red carpet. “At any moment I was ready to bounce because it was like, ‘Yo, if we can’t do this right we shouldn’t do it at all.’” Will.i.am on Eazy: “He never seemed like he was playing a role,” recounts Black Eyed Peas leader Will.i.am, who was discovered and signed to Ruthless Records by Eazy in 1992. “When you listened to N.W.A. you forget that Cube went to college and that Dre was in an electro funk band called World Class Wreckin’ Cru. That’s how real Eazy was. He was the one in the group that really was driving the ‘64 and hustling drugs in the streets to survive.”

Travi$ Scott Shares Standard & Deluxe Artwork For "Rodeo"

Travi$ Scott unveils the two covers of "Rodeo." We're now just a little over two weeks away from release day for Travi$ Scott's hotly anticipated debut album, Rodeo. Today, he's finally revealed another detail of the album: the artwork. Coming in standard and deluxe forms, the album has two different covers, both of which show Scott depicted in action figure form. The only difference is the deluxe art shows this figurine atop a monster truck toy. As per a tweet Scott just sent out, Rodeo is only currently available for pre-order in "SOME COUNTRYS," with iTunes' standard edition containing 14 tracks, including "Antidote" and "3500." It'll become available on US iTunes later tonight. Y'all excited for this?

Dr. Dre's Assault Of Dee Barnes Was In Original "Straight Outta Compton" Script

Dr. Dre's 1991 assault of Dee Barnes didn't make the final cut. Dee Barnes' recent op-ed in Gawker revisited her 1991 assault at the hands of Dr. Dre and raised questions about the incident's omission from "Straight Outta Compton." It was a reminder that, however popularly and critically acclaimed, the film is a subjective history and does not present a comprehensive account of N.W.A.'s rise to stardom. The LA Times obtained a copy of the original script that included the assault scene in its pages. Here is their description: In the scene, the fictional Dre, “eyes glazed, drunk, with an edge of nastiness, contempt” (per noted from the script) spots Barnes at the party and approaches her. “Saw that [expletive] you did with Cube. Really had you under his spell, huh? Ate up everything he said. Let him diss us. Sell us out.” “I just let him tell his story,” Barnes’ character retorts, “That’s what I do. It’s my job.” “I thought we were cool, you and me,” Dre fires back. “But you don’t give a [expletive]. You just wanna laugh at N.W.A, make us all look like fools.” The conversation escalates, Barnes throws her drink in Dre’s face before he attacks her “flinging her around like a rag-doll, while she screams, cries, begs for him to stop.” Director F. Gary Gray addressed the omission in an interview last week. He emphasized that, with an 150-page script and an original editor's cut running three and half hours long, there was no room for "side stories" that didn't serve the film's central narrative.

Tyga Reveals "Fuk What They Talkin Bout" Tracklist

Tyga's new 15-track mixtape will have only one feature. After dropping The Gold Album on Spotify to Birdman's great displeasure, Tyga is full-speed ahead gearing up for his forthcoming mixtape Fuk What They Talkin Bout. After revealing the cover art and release date on Monday, Tyga shared the tracklist this morning. At 15 tracks in length, the mixtapae has only one guest rapper, A.E, who's feature we've already heard. Based on the title and singles “Master $uite,” “Don’t C Me Comin” and “Bu$$in Out Da Bag," it looks like the whole thing will be one long message for the haters. Fuk What They Talkin Bout is out Monday August 24. Let's see if he can turn it up to that "Rack City"-level heat.

All Four Of Fetty Wap's Singles Are In The Top 10 On Billboard's Hot Rap Songs Chart

All four singles that Fetty Wap has released to date are currently in the top 10 of Billboard's Hot Rap Songs chart. We knew Fetty Wap was having a huge year pretty early on, around the time that "Trap Queen" started blasting out of roughly 50% of cars in all major cities. In terms of more measurable metrics, he's also killing it. Last month he became the first male rapper since Lil Wayne to have two concurrent top ten singles in Billboard's Hot 100, and now, he's ruling the Hot Rap Songs chart in an even more dominant way. To date, he's released four singles commercially, and now all of them are in the chart's top ten. "Again" is at #8, "679" is at #5, "My Way" is #3, and "Trap Queen" still holds the second spot, making Fetty the first artist to have his first four chart entries all break the top ten. The only other artists to have four songs simultaneously in the Hot Rap Songs top ten are T.I. (who was the last person to do it, back in 2009), 50 Cent, T-Pain, Drake, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Eminem and Iggy Azalea. Congratulations are in order for Fetty-- this is huge.

Nicki Minaj's Wax "Anaconda" Sculpture Gets Extra Security After Fans Take Inappropriate Photos

So many people have taken lewd photos with Nicki Minaj's new wax sculpture that Madame Tussaud's has had to add extra security. When Nicki Minaj got her very own wax sculpture at the iconic Madame Tussaud's wax museum, she seemed pretty happy about it, Instagramming several pictures of the "Anaconda" video-derived figurine. Azealia Banks, on the other hand, fumed about it. Taking issue with the fact that Minaj was portrayed "bent over on all fours" and not "standing up with a mic in her hand," Banks also predicted that people would pose inappropriately with the sculpture:

MICHAEL JORDAN SAYS HE DOESN'T ACCEPT ANY GIGS UNDER $10 MILLION

Michael Jordan was back in his old stomping grounds of Chicago this week, taking the stand in court on Tuesday for his lawsuit against Dominick's, a now defunct grocery chain, which used his likeness in a print ad which appeared in a 2009 issue of Sports Illustrated. Having recently taken an L in a lawsuit against a Beijing company that specializes in producing fugazzi Jordans, His Airness is thirsty for a win this time around. According to reports, not only did the grocery store fail to ask Jordan for permission to use his likeness but he said, under oath, that he would've rejected the deal anyway because he only accepts media deals that are worth more than $10 million.

Master P Is Hitting The Road To Cast His Upcoming Biopic

Master P is casting for "Ice Cream Man: King Of The South". If you've seen Straight Outta Compton, it's hard to leave the theater without the feeling that spin-off biopics on Dr. Dre and Tupac are being filmed this very minute. The imminent biopic craze has been confirmed by Master P's announcement that he'll be telling his own story on film, under the title, "Ice Cream Man: King Of The South". As he did with No Limit, it seems that P will be going the independent route with the project, announcing that he'll be touring the states scouting talent for the upcoming film. It will be released through the rapper's own No Limit Forever Films production company, and is already set for a Spring 2016 release. Information on auditions can be found in the flyer in the gallery above. You must be 18 or older, or have the permission of a legal guardian to participate. Who would you like to see Master P? Should he go the Ice Cube route and have his son, Romeo, play the part?

Pharrell To Headline Apple Music Festival

Pharrell, Disclosure and more will perform at the first annual Apple Music festival. It's only been around for just over a month, but Apple Music has already become inescapable. Unlike its competitor, Tidal, it hasn't annoyed users as much with its use of "exclusives" -- but then again, we're still in the middle of a three month free trial. Apple Music doesn't just have its eyes set on the streaming market however, as today the very first Apple Music festival has been announced. The event, which replaces Apple's iTunes music festival, will feature headlining performances form Pharrell Williams, Disclosure, One Direction, and Florence and The Machine. It will take place over 10 days in London, starting September 26th. Unsurprisingly, there will be plenty of tie-ins with the service itself, as users will be able to stream the event through Apple Music, and Beats 1 Radio will be providing exclusive backstage interviews. There are many more acts to be announced, and we're not ruling out the possibility of a Drake performance.

Lil Wayne's "Lil Weezyana Fest" Will Stream Exclusively On Tidal

Tidal will be broadcasting Lil Wayne's upcoming Hot Boys reunion. As soon as Lil Wayne's Lil Weezyana fest was announced, it was speculated that the event would be streamed exclusively through Tidal, who premiered the rapper's FWA album. This hunch was called into question when Birdman filed a lawsuit against the streaming service, claiming they didn't have the rights to host the rapper's music. While the status of that suit is still unclear, it seems the legal battles haven't soured Wayne's relationship with Tidal, as they are going ahead with the stream of his upcoming Hot Boys reunion. The event is going down on august 28th in New Orleans, and will benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina. While BG remains incarcerated, judsging by the flyer, it looks like Turk, Juvenile, and early Cash Money producer Mannie Fresh will make appearances.

THE WEEKND MODELS KANYE WEST’S ADIDAS COLLECTION FOR GQ

The Weeknd appears in GQ modeling clothes from Kanye West’s Adidas line. The Weeknd, as we read during his NYTimes profile, is attempting to evolve and thus come out of his shell a bit more with his upcoming album Beauty Behind the Madness. We’ve already seen evidence of this, not only with the New York Times interview, but the singer’s recent appearance in a Vogue fashion spread alongside the cast of Empire. Today The Weeknd locks in another photo spread with a major fashion magazine, this time men’s wear magazine GQ. The Toronto native previews Kanye West’s collection with Adidas while speaking briefly on his fame, his sound and more. Read a few excerpts below, and peep the photos from the shoot above. Beauty Behind the Madness drops August 28th. — Please tell me the story of a pivotal moment while writing or recording this album. The first one that comes to mind is great. I wrote a song with Ed Sheeran that was kind of spontaneous. He was hosting the Much Music Awards in Toronto and I invited him, and pretty much the entire awards show, to my condo to party. It went on until about 5 in the morning but we didn’t write the song until that next day, so you can imagine how that night went. Ed also did a freestyle battle with Waka Flocka in my kitchen. That was pretty dope. Good times. Please tell a story about a breakthrough or “aha!” moment in the studio while working with Max Martin. There were plenty of moments. In a span of like a month, we did so many songs. It was a learning experience for me. When you work with someone who has been doing it for as long as Max Martin you can’t help but learn. Max’s studio used to be Marilyn Monroe’s old house and I came up with the concept for a song called “In the Night” in her bedroom. That was pretty amazing. Unfortunately I couldn’t help but imagine Joe DiMaggio’s sperm everywhere on the floor. At our fitting and photo shoot, you found a comfort zone with the Yeezy clothes pretty quickly. What did you like about them? Why do they work for you? I really felt like he targeted someone like me. The camo, the army look, the black boots, the nonchalant kind of vagrant look. I relate to it. It relates to my story. Kanye is such a great friend of mine as well, when he asked me I couldn’t say no. It was the least I could do.

AMBER ROSE’S LIKENESS REPORTEDLY USED TO LURE GIRLS INTO PROSTITUTION RING

Amber Rose was used as the face of an alleged prostitution ring out in L.A. without her knowledge or consent. Amber Rose may be a vocal supporter of bad bitches and MILFs everywhere, and she may be organizing a Slut Walk for Los Angeles in October, however, her business ventures don’t foray into prostitution– yet she was unwittingly used to lure young girls into a prostitution ring based in L.A. The strange story comes via TMZ this morning. An L.A. company is now being investigated by the LAPD for soliciting models “for a paid celebrity photoshoot and clothing line.” One such model came forward and filed a police report on Monday, claiming that the company was attempting to bring her into their prostitution ring. According to the report, aspiring models who came across the company’s Instagram ad (in the photo gallery above) would then contact the company, and they would be told that Amber Rose was the main person involved in choosing the models. The company would then set up a FaceTime session “with” Amber Rose, but in reality the video was grabbed from an old uStream Amber did with her fans– the model, however, would see Amber Rose struggling with a bad connection before the FaceTime session failed entirely. Eventually, the company would set up the model on a date with a “rich guy.” Prior to the date, they would text the model and ask if “they would be willing to be intimate.” They would insinuate that this would help with their career and help their work with Amber Rose. The alleged video of Amber that was being used for the fake FaceTime sessions can be seen below. http://www.tmz.com/videos/0_odx3j7ww

A Charlotte Radio Station Has Been Playing Nothing But Drake For The Last Two Days

Drake 92.7 is a thing. A radio station in Charlotte may have taken Drake's "Back To Back" a little too seriously, as they've been playing Drake songs nonstop for the last couple of days. What was once said to be a gospel station has now adopted the name Drake 92.7, and so far, they haven't played one song that didn't at least feature the OVO star. It's not clear how long this will go on for, but the station has reportedly hinted that a "special announcement" will ve coming on Monday. For now, you can tune in to the station, which strangely hasn't got old just yet.

Pharrell Premieres Unreleased N.E.R.D. Track On His Beats 1 Radio Show

Pharrell liberates unreleased N.E.R.D. track "Locked Away." Pharrell's solo career is going rather well, but he hasn't forget about his N.E.R.D. days yet, as he aired an unreleased N.E.R.D. track called "Locked Away" during tonight's episode of his "OTHERtone" Beats 1 Radio show. “Locked Away" features a funky bass line and swinging drums on the verse before bursting into breezy guitar and synths on the hook. It's pretty surprising it took this long for the track to see the light of day. Noted Pharrell fan Tyler, the Creator was the program's special guest. He was his usual boisterous self as he talked about meeting André 3000, Denzel Washington, and Hans Zimmer at Coachella, and more. Head here to stream the two-hour show, head here to stream “Locked Away,

Master P Announces Self-Directed Biopic Slated For 2016 Release

N.W.A. isn't the only one coming out with a rap biopic. With an estimated net worth of $350 million, Master P is one of the most successful rappers and businessman in the history of hip hop. Now he's taking his rags-to-riches story to the silver screen. Produced in-house by No Limit Forever Films, "Ice Cream Man: King of the South" is slated for a spring 2016 release. Raised in the Calliope Projects in the 3rd Ward of New Orleans, Master P went on to become a multi-platinum rapper and sell 75 million records through his independent label No Limit Records. He co-wrote the script for "Ice Cream Man" and is apparently directing the film as well. The newly released film trailer features grainy footage of a young Percy Miller making the transition from street-hardened gangster to bonafide rap star.

"Straight Outta Compton" Garners $24.2 Million In Opening Day Sales

"Straight Outta Compton" is killing it in the box office. "Straight Outta Compton" had a strong opening day, garnering $24.2 million in ticket sales in 2,754 North American theaters. Thursday night screenings raked in an estimated $4.96 million alone. The film is now projected to net $59.4 million over the course of its opening weekend, according to Deadline. Original projections had "Straight Outta Compton" doing $18-19 million on opening day and $40-50 million its opening weekend. It's not surprising that the film is killing it in the box office, as Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, & N.W.A. have the power to resonate with hip hop enthusiasts young and old. "Straight Outta Compton" is currently sporting a 88% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Have you seen it yet? What'd you think?

Janelle Monae "Today Show" Performance Cut Following Comments About Police Brutality

Janelle Monae's speech about protecting black lives was phased out during a televised performance. Janelle Monae took the Today Show stage on Friday morning to perform alongside Jidenna and her other Wondaland signees, but after the gleeful energy of "Classic Man" and "Yoga," Monae took things in a more serious direction with her political new single, "Hell You Talmbout". The singer closed the performance with a speech about police brutality, but the network had the camera cut away, and a voice of a reporter chime in before she could finish her thoughts. It's possible it was an unfortunate coincidence of timing, but we wouldn't put it past the Today Show for trying to shy away from "controversial" content. Ironically, the last thing we hear from Monae is "we will not be silenced". Supporting the suggestion that The Today Show isn't looking to align themselves with the Black Lives Matter movement is the fact that video of the performance has not been uploaded to their website.

Karrine Steffans Says Drake Has Helped Lil Wayne Write Rhymes

Karrine Steffans says Lil Wayne told her that Drake has contributed to his songwriting process. After Meek Mill pointed out a co-writer Drake had been working with on If You're Reading This It's Too Late, collaborative writing in rap has been something of a hot topic. The more we talk about it, the more it seems the practice is, and always has been, commonplace in the genre, often among some of the biggest stars in the game. According to author Karrine Steffans, Drake and Lil Wayne have also shared a few bars. Steffans, who has dated Weezy on and off, told VladTV of Wayne's admission that Drizzy had helped him pen a song, though it remained nameless. “Wayne told me that Drake had written some things, for him,” she said. “I was in the studio with Wayne listening to something that Drake had written ’cause Wayne can’t write like that. And he’ll be honest about it. He only writes a certain way.” Weezy is generally known to have a more spontaneous style compared to Drake's carefully structured bars, reportedly telling Karrine that the OVO rapper helped him switch up his approach. “He was very honest," she explained. "‘I don’t write that way. I don’t know how.’ So Drake was just kind of showing him how to take his ideas and turn them into a story, and to make that story come back around. And that’s a skill. That’s a storytelling skill. [Not] everybody can do that. There was a particular song that Drake had written or helped him write that would help him do that.” We may never know which song Weezy was referring to here (or if he was credited), but after Drake lifted Wayne's melody for "Best I Ever Had," it only makes sense for him to return the favor.

Talib Kweli drops his new album as a free surprise release. Surprise albums are all the rage these days, and while it's always great to wake up to a new album from your favorite artist, it's even better when that album is entirely free. Future's "Beast Mode 2" Is On Its Way, According To Zaytoven

Zaytoven looks to have confirmed a sequel to Future's "Beast Mode" on Instagram. Future's self-described "3peat" of mixtapes has already become somewhat legendary amongst fans, but Future has shown no signs of stopping his hot streak. Among the trilogy of tapes released over the last year, Beast Mode was the most playful, with Fewtch sticking to bouncy Zaytoven production rather than the the dark industrial work of 808 Mafia and Metro Boomin. Zay also showed up on a couple songs on the rapper's new studio album, DS2, but it seems they're back in the studio once more, with the producer confirming as much in an Instagram post yesterday. While his caption was decidedly vague, Zaytoven offered up the initials BM2, hinting that a sequel to Beast Mode is on the way. We'll believe it when we see it, but knowing the work ethic of both artists involved, we wouldn't be surprised if they could knock the tape out in one session.

Stream Da$h's New Project "Skrewface"

Check out a new EP from Da$h, "Skrewface." Da$h has been relatively M.I.A. in recent months. Today he makes his return, with the release of a new project on his Soundcloud. Snoop Dogg's Son Gives Up On Football, Quits UCLA Team

Snoop Dogg's son, Cordell Broadus, has quit the UCLA football team according to coach Jim Mora, in order to pursue other passions including his film career. Or as his father would say, he dropped the team LIKE IT WAS HOT! Snoop did not storm the campus slinging around kettle bells after hearing the news. “Cordell informed me yesterday that he has decided to pursue other passions in his life — in particular his love of film through his company Film School Productions,” head coach Jim Mora said in a statement. “Cordell is an amazing young man with many talents, and we wish him nothing but the best as he continues to pursue his degree at UCLA.” Snoop Jr., a 6'3 wide receiver, was ranked as one of the Top-30 recruits in the Class of 2015, but he failed to show up to the Bruins' training camp this week after committing back in February. Diddy's son, Justin Combs, is still on the roster and in training camp, despite his father's attack on UCLA strength and conditioning coach, Sal Alosi.
