ASAP Rocky Is Releasing A Limited Edition Chain With Virgin Mega

ASAP Rocky is partnering with Virgin Mega to release a limited edition A.L.L.A. Access Chain, in anticipation of his "Worldwide" tour. ASAP Rocky and Tyler, The Creator's joint tour is definitely an affair fans will not want to miss, even more so when you throw Vince Staples and Danny Brown into the mix. If ever we needed to say 'lituation,' this would probably be it. In anticipation of the tour, which kicks off on September 19th in Lowell, MA, Rocky has teamed up with Virgin Mega for an limited edition chain. Virgin Mega basically partners with brands to bring users that exclusive shit, and their latest collaboration is the "A.L.L.A Access Chain." The chain's design pays homage to Rocky's NYC roots, with a version of the 1970 MTA subway token hanging from a bronze chain, as well as a 2015 version of the token. Each piece of jewlery was cast in bronze by Gabriel Urist. The chains will set you back $95 a piece, and in order to cop one, you need to download the Virgin Mega app and begin waiting in a virtual line. Downloading the app reserves you a spot in line, and at 4 PM on September 25th, fans will have one hour to improve their spot in the virtual line in the hope of copping a chain. You can improve your spot in the line by answering questions about the rapper, engaging with other fans in line, and engaging with Virgin Mega's DJ. One lucky winner will also get tickets to the tour, at the show of his/her choice.

Travi$ Scott Snapped At A Guy Who Mistook Him For ASAP Rocky

Travis$ Scott naturally wasn't pleased when someone assumed he was ASAP Rocky outside of a club. On his way to his record release party in NYC, Travi$ Scott obviously ran into a lot of photographers. As usual, the paps were yelling to get his attention, calling him by "Travis!," and even "Laflame!," but in a new clip from outside the club, you can faintly hear someone saying "ASAP!," which also caught Scott's attention. It's not clear if the calls are coming from an out-of-the-loop photographer or just someone on the street, but either way Travis made sure to set them straight -- turning around and exclaiming, "I'm not motherfucking ASAP, bitch". Scott has been known to be overly confrontational at times, but the paparazzi are already annoying enough -- so if they can't even get your name right, we understand why you'd be upset.

The Weeknd, ASAP Rocky, Pharrell To Perform At MTV VMAs 2015

Check out the initial list of VMA performers. With his album release set for this Friday and plenty of hits on the Billboard chart, The Weeknd is having a pretty solid week. He'll cap things off by performing on the MTV Video Music Awards this week, which should be a pretty eventful night. As we already knew, Miley Cyrus will be acting as the host at this year's event, which is sure to have people talking on its own. Also, the award for Video Of The Year should serve as some interesting TV, as Nicki Minaj's absence from the ballot is what sparked her criticism of the VMAs, and ultimately had Taylor Swift interjecting inappropriately. Surely, if Swift wins, she'll be honoring Minaj in one way or another. Aside from the drama, the newest update comes with the announcement of the acts that will be performing, and of course, Abel is among those set to grace the stage. Other performers will include Pharrell, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Demi Lovato, and A$AP Rocky, though he'll be stuck assisting Twenty One Pilots (already getting shudders thinking of the Kendrick x Imagine Dragons performance).

ASAP Rocky Talks Respect For Tyler, The Creator & Recording "Electric Body" With ScHoolboy Q

ASAP Rocky shares some thought on his upcoming tour with Tyler, The Creator, and his stoned studio sessions with ScHoolboy Q. ASAP Rocky recently announced a co-headlining tour with Tyler, The Creator, but so far, we hadn't really heard his thoughts on hitting the road with the Odd Future wildman. In a new interview with Revolt, Rocky spoke of the general respect he has for Tyler as a renaissance man. "I fuck with Tyler's whole movement," he said. "His aesthetic, what he does -- directs his own videos, produces his own beats, designs his clothes, ran his crew for a while, ran companies and stuff like that. Just being a fellow artist I respect that. Later on, Pretty Flacko shared his favorite recording session from his recent album, ALLA. His answer was quick, and seemed to be based more on the antics that ensued during the process than the actual music being laid down. "Probably 'Electric Body,' with Schoolboy," Rocky said with a stoned giggle. "Schoolboy a fool man. That motherfucker was in there smoking big-ass paper blunts and shit. Old-ass man and shit. Granddaddy Q. Shout out to my boy."

Rita Ora Responds To A$AP Rocky's Diss On "A.L.L.A."

Rita Ora finally responds to A$AP Rocky's mention of her on "A.L.L.A." A$AP Rocky has spoken out about his Rita Ora lyrics on the track "Better Things," off his new album A.L.L.A., however we'd yet to hear from Rita herself on the diss, until today. Rocky himself referred to the diss as "tasteless," although he stands by what he said. In an interview with the Guardian he said, "The Rita thing was tasteless of me. [But] I’ve got to stand by it, because I did it. I said it. Who gives a fuck about who I’m fucking? Nobody really cares. It’s fun to hear, but who really gives a fuck about who Rita Ora’s fucking?" During a sit-down with Hot 97, where Rita Ora was promoting new music she's currently working on (including her single with Chris Brown, "Body On Me"), she addresses the lyrics, noticeably unbothered by them. On the topic, she says, "I’m not looking at it like 'you’re upsetting me' because I don’t actually give a shit. I think about it, and I don’t want people to think it’s ok to speak about women like that. I don’t care what you say about me. I don’t give a flying fuck. That’s just how it is, but you know got to keep it moving. I’m very happy with what I do, and I’m proud of who I am, and what I represent."

A$AP Rocky Shot A Short Film Starring Skepta & Novelist

A$AP Rocky just wrapped up shooting for a short film starring grime stars Skepta and Novelist. In a recent interview with The Guardian, A$AP Rocky revealed that he just wrapped up shooting a short film starring UK grime artists Skepta and Novelist, London rap crew Piff Gang, and A.L.L.A. producer Danger Mouse. The film is produced by Flacko's in-house creative team AWGE and Michèle Lamy, wife of fashion designer Rick Owens. Flacko told The Guardian he doesn't want to be remembered exclusively for his smash hit "Fuckin' Problems." “It’s a fun song, [but] I didn’t want to be remembered as just that," he said. "That was my biggest song. Like man, I’ve got to wipe that off my record it’s like I’m not that guy any more. I was 22, 23 at the time – I was just having fun.” He's referring to the lack of radio-friendly bangers on A.L.L.A., but perhaps what he really meant was he wanted to branch out with film and fashion ventures like this film.
