Pharrell To Headline Apple Music Festival
Pharrell, Disclosure and more will perform at the first annual Apple Music festival.
It's only been around for just over a month, but Apple Music has already become inescapable. Unlike its competitor, Tidal, it hasn't annoyed users as much with its use of "exclusives" -- but then again, we're still in the middle of a three month free trial.
Apple Music doesn't just have its eyes set on the streaming market however, as today the very first Apple Music festival has been announced. The event, which replaces Apple's iTunes music festival, will feature headlining performances form Pharrell Williams, Disclosure, One Direction, and Florence and The Machine. It will take place over 10 days in London, starting September 26th.
Unsurprisingly, there will be plenty of tie-ins with the service itself, as users will be able to stream the event through Apple Music, and Beats 1 Radio will be providing exclusive backstage interviews.
There are many more acts to be announced, and we're not ruling out the possibility of a Drake performance.
