Is Jay Rock's "90059" Dropping Next Week?
It looks like Jay Rock's sophomore album "90059" is only weeks away from dropping.
Jay Rock has decided to take a unique approach with the release strategy for his sophomore album 90059. Instead of a concrete release date, Jay Rock & TDE are allowing the fans to determine when we’ll hear the long-awaited album by the amount of pre-orders it reaches on iTunes. Nevertheless, it looks like the goal must be really close to being reached, because a release date has just surfaced online tonight.
According to Best Buy’s website, Jay Rock’s sophomore album, 90059, will be dropping in stores on September 11, with digital copies coming a week earlier on September 4th, aka next Friday. Led by the previously heard singles “Gumbo,” “Money Trees Deuce,” & the title track “90059,” Jay Rock’s sophomore album is shaping up to be his best body of work to date. Look for guest features from Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Isaiah Rashad, Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q, and more.
