Instead of a concrete release date, Jay Rock & TDE are allowing the fans to determine when we’ll hear the long-awaited album by the amount of pre-orders it reaches on iTunes. Nevertheless, it looks like the goal must be really close to being reached, because a release date has just surfaced online tonight. According to Best Buy’s website, Jay Rock’s sophomore album, 90059, will be dropping in stores on September 11, with digital copies coming a week earlier on September 4th, aka next Friday. Led by the previously heard singles “Gumbo,” “Money Trees Deuce,” & the title track “90059,” Jay Rock’s sophomore album is shaping up to be his best body of work to date.
