Today, his journey continues its upward trajectory as his long awaited new project, Another Day In Paradise, was just made available on iTunes. Gucci Mane Announces "First Day Out Tha Feds" Dropping Tonight

Guwop is already back at it. The rap world went into celebration mode when news broke that Gucci Mane had been released from prison yesterday, and the conversation quickly turned into how soon we could expect new music from the impossibly prolific rapper. After Snapchats from girlfriend Keyshia Ka'oir confirmed GuWop was in the studio hours after being released, it seemed we might be getting a new track soon, and sure enough, we are getting some new material tonight, though it's not clear whether it's a track or a mixtape. "#FirstDayOutThaFeds droppin tonite at 10:17pm," he wrote on Twitter this morning, revealing a title that references his 2009 record, "First Day Out," which he dropped just after serving previous jail time. Gucci also shared some lyrics to a song that may serve as something of a sequel to that particular track, posting a photo of some of his handwritten verses.

Brown responds to reports that he got kicked off a jet en route to Cannes. Chris Brown was scheduled to take a private flight to the Cannes Film Festival in France yesterday. According to TMZ, police were summoned to the scene after the pilot smelled marijuana smoke seeping into the cockpit. "We got kicked off the jet for smoking loud," one member of Brown's entourage wrote on Snapchat. Brown clapped back at the TMZ report in an Instagram video denying that any marijuana had been smoked. "How the hell we in Cannes if we got escorted off a plane?" he asked the viewer. "One, marijuana smoke on a plane? I think we learned our lesson. I don't think we really need drugs on the plane. He went on to suggest that the pilot attempt to solicit drugs from Brown's crew. "You should probably check with the pilot, because he definitely kept asking my homies for an 8-ball, and we definitely don't sell drugs," Brown said. "So I'ma be rich, stay rich and happy."

Gorillaz Hit The Studio With Vic Mensa

Damon Albarn's right hand man Remi Kabaka shared a picture of Vic Mensa in the studio. Vic Mensa has performed with the Gorillaz on a handful of occasions. He handled Del the Funky Homosapien's duties on Gorillaz mega-hit "Clint Eastwood" during a 2014 performance at Governor's Ball. Shortly thereafter, he expressed a desire to get in the studio with Gorillaz mastermind Damon Albarn. It looks his wishes are being fulfilled. Remi Kabaka, otherwise known as the voice of Gorillaz fictional drummer Russel Hobbs, posted an Instagram picture of someone who looks suspiciously like Vic Mensa in the studio last night. According to Reddit user u/JordanPowers95, Kabaka initially tagged Mensa then removed the tag, which would imply that the band is trying to keep the collaboration on the low.

The Air Jordan 5 “Olympic” Is Going For Gold

Jordan Brand ditches the traditional Olympic look. Fans of gold sneakers are in luck, because Jordan Brand has designed a version of the Air Jordan 5 prominently featuring metallic gold on the tongue. The Air Jordan 5 hasn’t been getting too much love in 2016, so it’s good to see at least one pair is on the way this year. Officially called the Air Jordan 5 Retro “Olympic,” Jordan Brand differentiates this Olympic sneaker from its many others by staying monochromatic. No traces of blue or red appear, as the upper is predominantly white with a black midsole. The tongue is a a metallic gold, with gold also appearing as an accent on the midsole. Despite disappearing from a few future retros, the blue icy sole is still present on this Air Jordan 5. The release date for the Air Jordan 5 “Olympic” is set for August 13, and will retail for $190. What’s your take on these?

Shaq Gets Hit With A Ruthless "VIEWS" Meme On Inside The NBA

The Inside the NBA team is in Toronto tonight for Game 7, and each analyst was given his own "VIEWS" meme. Drake is currently seated in his usual seat next to the Raptors bench in the Air Canada Centre, anxiously watching his team battle it out against the Indiana Pacers in the deciding game of the first round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs. The NBA on TNT team was also in the arena, and Drake was an obvious topic of conversation for the crew, especially considering his new album, VIEWS. They first discuss the origins of Drake's nickname for Toronto, "the 6" -- eventually realizing that the number is shared by Toronto's two primary area codes, which doesn't make sense to Charles Barkley. Then, Ernie Johnson cues up some memes -- involving each member of the Inside the NBA team -- inspired by the VIEWS cover art, the most meme'd album artwork in recent memory. After the first two VIEWS memes clown Ernie and Kenny Smith, respectively, it's Shaq's turn, and he gets dealt a crushing blow. Shaq's personal VIEWS cover shows him perched atop the Staples Center with his arm around an old teammate

Soulja Boy Claims To Have Signed $400 Million Deal

Soulja Boy announces that he has signed a deal of epic proportions. Soulja Boy has been silly rich since he was 17 years old, when his debut single "Crank That" became the No. 1 song in the country. He's still only 25, and in a recent Instagram post, he revealed his net worth to be $25 million. That's also the number that shows up on Soulja Boy's page on CelebrityNetWorth.com. And according to Soulja, that number is about to go way up, as he claims to have just signed a deal worth $400 million. "From 25 million at 25 to being offered 400 million and closing out the deal?" he asked rhetorically on Instagram. "Just think about where I came from no man seriously!

Drake Performs Another Surprise Concert At Ryerson University

Drake was out and about in the 6 tonight, performing a surprise show at Ryerson University before helping the Raptors lock up a Game 7 win. Today, one of Toronto's biggest schools, Ryerson University, held its "6-cents" spring concert. Inspired by Drake's nickname for Toronto, the cost of entry was apparently only six cents for Ryerson students. The concert was hosted by Future's right-hand man, DJ Esco, and the event promised to include "special guests." Those who were able to scrounge up enough couch pennies to cover the ticket price were indeed treated to a special performer, as Drake, hot off the release of VIEWS, made a surprise appearance after DJ Esco's set. "I'm just doing this shit to prove to the rest of the world that this is the greatest city in the world," Drake told the crowd of zealous students. His appearance earlier this evening marks the second time this school year that Drake has made a surprise performance at a Ryerson event. During his show tonight, he performed tracks like "Jumpman," "Energy," and "Summer Sixteen," as well as the VIEWS singles "One Dance" and "Pop Style," the latter for the first time ever.

Stream Young God's New Beat Tape "...But He Who Causes Darkness"

Listen to compilation of the best instrumentals from Young God of BSBD: "...but he who causes the darkness." Young God is one half of the San Francisco production duo Blue Sky Black Death, known for their production work alongside innovative underground rappers like Deniro Farrar and Nacho Picasso. Young God linked with Farrar for a joint mixtape, Cliff of Death 2, in summer 2015, and he's since been focusing on his solo instrumental work. He has combined three years of his best work, including some of his choice beats from previous projects as well as new and unheard instrumentals, into one project: ...but he who causes the darkness. The project is moody and immersive, filled with haunting vocal samples (sometimes distorted from popular hits) and atmospheric synth patterns. Each beat is rich in texture and feels lush even when the ambience gets especially dark and spooky. There's a distant hip-hop pulse that keeps the whole thing cohesive and exhilarating. Stream ...but he who causes the darkness below, and purchase the 18-track project on Bandcamp.

OVO Releases Full Credits To Drake's "VIEWS"

OVO releases the "VIEWS" digital booklet, including the album's full credits. Drake revealed the featureless VIEWS tracklist last Wednesday (Apr. 27). In the early evening before he ended up releasing the album on Apple Music while he was on the air for a rescheduled episode of OVO Sound Radio, Drake announced most of the VIEWS features by using memes inspired by his own album artwork. He soon shared a fairly extensive production list, which was later added to by Noah "40" Shebib. OVO has now released the entire list of VIEWS credits, listing the names of everyone involved in the recording of Drake's fourth studio album. The liner notes are placed carefully across various images of Drake and friends in front of curated Toronto scenes, as part of a slideshow on the OVO blog with a similar layout to a digital booklet. On the first page after the cover art, Drake dedicates the album to Megan Flores, a young girl currently undergoing cancer treatment, whom Drake visited with Rihanna in March while in Miami for an "Anti" tour date: "This body of work is dedicated to Megan Flores. I pray for your well being every day." Digging into the full writing credits, there's not a whole lot of revelatory information, but there are a few names in there worth noting. OVO/Reps Up affiliate Baka Not Nice is given a vocal credit for "Hype," as is Irish singer James Vincent McMorrow. Jeremih has background vocals on "With You," the breezy R&B collab featuring PartyNextDoor. On the standout "Still Here," D. Carter is given a writing credit -- did Dwayne Carter, aka Lil Wayne, help Drizzy with some of those bars?
