Check Out Samples Of The Under Armour Curry 2.5
Under Armour plans to lace Stephen Curry with a mid-season update.
Under Armour is taking a page out of Nike's book this season and giving their premiere signature sneaker a mid-season update. Nike did this for LeBron three times in a single season once, and each innovation was doper than the last. The Under Armour Curry 2.5 aims to imitate that success.
The new version of Stephen Curry’s signature sneaker ditches the panel, perforated design of the Curry 2 in favor of an almost one piece upper. The outer side of the upper is a vertically lined leather, with the inner part is a nylon-like sock that’s connected to the rest of the upper.
This is a shoe that puts performance first (we hope), because it definitely isn’t going for style points. The vertical patterning makes the shoe look extremely resilient, but we’ll have to get our hands on it to see if it’s just an optical illusion.
Be on the lookout for these to appear on the mercurial Golden State Warriors guard sometime soon. Any Curry 2 owners should sound off in the comments, since they'll have the best perspective on this evolution
