Full List Of Winners From The 2016 BET Awards

The 2016 BET Awards are underway! Check here throughout the night for live updates of tonight's ceremony. After this year's Grammys, when T. Swift's 1989 won Album of the Year over To Pimp a Butterfly, we were weary of any more award shows, and indeed, the few big ones that followed were, for the most part, drawn-out and overhyped celebrations of radio fluff. But tonight's event, the BET Awards, is different. The show is meant to honor all the best work that black entertainment has to offer, and that means our beloved genres of hip-hop and R&B will actually be taken seriously. And the performances are key, too; the live music will come not from Meghan Trainor but artists like Future, Young Thug, Desiigner, French Montana, Erykah Badu, and Remy Ma. There will also be a performance in honor of one of the most important artists of our time, Prince, who we lost earlier this year. A supergroup made up of D'Angelo, Sheila E., Stevie Wonder, Janelle Monae, and The Roots will be responsible for the tribute performance. Tonight's show is hosted by Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross. Two awards were given out prior to the ceremony -- The Lifetime Achievement Award to Samuel L. Jackson and the Humanitarian Award to Jesse Williams. Head to BET.com for a few different live feeds into tonight's show at the Microsoft Theater in LA. It starts NOW! See the full list of awards and nominees below, and keep it locked here to keep up with the winners as they are announced. Also make sure to follow @HNHHSnaps on Snapchat for red carpet access with Jen DeLeon. Best Female R&B/Pop Artist Adele Andra Day Beyoncé -- WINNER K. Bad Boys Reunite To Perform At The BET Awards

Diddy got the old Bad Boy squad together for a BET Awards performance. One of the undisputed highlights of Sunday night's BET Awards was Diddy getting the old Bad Boy roster together for an 11-minute performance. Puff and Ma$e got things started with "Feel So Good," then 112 showed up for "Peaches and Cream." Diddy then kicked it up a notch with “I Need a Girl Part Two" before Faith Evans arrived looking fine as ever to bring the house down with "Love Like This." But they weren't done yet. French Montana randomly showed up and nearly cratered the whole thing with a brief "Hot Nigga" interlude before Jadakiss and Sheek Louch got it back on track by coming out for “All About the Benjamins." The show reached its pinnacle as Lil Kim shot up like a rocket out of the ground, literally, and shut the venue down with her "Benjamins" verse on top of the "Queen Bitch" beat. Mase and Diddy wrapped things up with "Mo Money Mo Problems” before Diddy brought Pharrell to debut his new single "Finna Get Loose." All in all an incredible performance, the best part was definitely Diddy tripping and falling into the crowd
