Meek Mill Says Quentin Miller Slipped Him Drake's "Summer Sixteen" Lyrics
Just when you thought it couldn't get any wilder.
You gotta be kidding. Have the tables turned? Meek Mill just responded to all the clamor surrounding his "War Pain" Drake diss, which all-too-coincidentally seemed to address the Drake track that premiered MINUTES earlier, by writing, "The ghost writer told me!"
Did Quentin Miller, whose revealed identity started the whole beef in the first place, slip Meek the lyrics of Drake's new single, "Summer Sixteen." Couldn't be...
Drake Goes After Meek Mill, Barack Obama & Tory Lanez On "Summer Sixteen"
R&B Drake took a backseat tonight...
Drake took no prisoners on his new single, "Summer Sixteen." No singing, no dancing -- just bitter raps directed at anyone whom he might consider a rival. Of course, that includes Meek Mill, whom he deals with in his opening verse.
He reveals that he found out Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj were staying in the Toronto Four Seasons on the night that "Back to Back" dropped, and upon discovering the couple’s whereabouts, Drake and his crew booked a room directly above that of Meek and Nicki, and proceeded to blast "Back to Back" all night long.
Funnily enough, Meek referenced the same scenario on a diss track of his own, "War Pain," that he released along with a new EP, 4/4 Part 2, shortly after the premiere of "Summer Sixteen." Head here to get a detailed look at that strange coincidence.
He finishes with Meek after rapping, "You don’t have to say it louder n*gga / Trust, we heard you the first time."
As far as the most high-profile target on Drake’s new record, that would have to Barack Obama. Hailing from north of the border, Drake obviously didn’t feel any qualms about going after the current U.S. President. "Tell Obama that my verses are like the whips that he in / They bulletproof," raps Drake early on in his opening verse.
Why did he deliver shots against the leader of the free world? Because Obama, who has been vocal about his love for Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly, recently voiced his opinion that K-Dot would best Drake in a one-on-one battle.
Moving on to his fellow Canadians, Drake raps, "All you boys in the new Toronto want to be me a little." Many took this, and the ensuing lines, to be something off a shot taken at Tory Lanez, whose December mixtape is titled The New Toronto.
Lanez may have created tension with Drake when he expressed his dislike of "the 6" as a nickname for Toronto -- one that has, of course, been popularized by the "6 God."
To make things even more sensational, Meek Mill called out Drake for hating on his fellow Torontonian on "War Pain": "Tory from the 6, you hatin’ on him, Lord knows!"
It might be unfair to call them disses, but Drake also namedrops Jay Z (whose status he says he has achieved), Kanye (whose pool isn't as big as his), and Chris Breezy (to whom he has comparable dance moves). OK, the last one was a little cruel.

Wiz Khalifa To Kanye West: "You Better Run, N*gga"
Wiz Khalifa had more choice words for Kanye West during a recent show in Chile.
Wiz was in South America during his ridiculous Twitter spat with Kanye West that went down on Wednesday (Jan. 29). Later that night, after 'Ye had disparaged Wiz' ex-wife and claimed ownership over their child together, the Taylor Gang emcee yelled "fuck Kanye!" while he was performing in Argentina.
Wiz went on to perform in the neighboring country of Chile the next night, and during that show, he had more harsh words for Kanye.
In video captured by TMZ, one can hear Wiz' switch up the lyrics to one of his songs in order to indict West: "Kanye gon' get smashed out," he sings near the beginning of the clip. He then repeated one of his tweets that he had directed at Kanye during their initial back and forth: "KK is weed fool."
And it seems that Wiz' South American fans are well aware of the viral beef, as someone in the Chilean crowd can be seen holding up a sign that reads "YE IS A LIL BITCH."
Before the clip ends, Wiz can be heard issuing one more threat toward the WAVES rapper: "We coming for you Kanye, you better run n*gga."

Kanye West Responds To Amber Rose’s Claims
Kanye West to Amber Rose: "I’m not into that kind of shit."
You had to figure it was only a matter of time before Kanye responded to Amber Rose’s #FingersInTheBootyAssBitch claims, and here it is.
Early Friday morning, Kanye took to twitter once again to clear up the allegations of his sexual desires around the ass, which he says he aint about. He tweeted, “Exes can be mad but just know I never let them play with my ass… I don’t do that… I stay away from that area all together,” before later adding “I’m not into that kind of shit… I like pictures and videos Me and my wife got the kind of love that can turn exes into best friends.”
Of course, this all stems from the original twitter beef between Wiz and Kanye, when ‘Ye brought Amber into it all for “trapping wiz” and being a stripper. Ultimately, causing Amber to air out Kanye’s dirty secret of liking his ass allegedly played with.

Stream Gucci Mane & Zaytoven's "Mama's Basement" Mixtape
Listen to some unreleased songs from Gucci Mane & Zaytoven in "Mama's Basement."
As if today wasn't already crazy enough, Gucci Mane just dug into the vaults and decided to share some unreleased songs he recorded with Zaytoven years ago back when he was living in his Mama’s Basement.
Released via Soundcloud, the project consists of nine never-before-heard songs from Gucci Mane, all of which are produced by Zaytoven obviously. Serving as the follow up to East Atlanta Santa 2, Mama’s Basement should definitely keep the fans & streets on lock while we wait for Guwop’s release from prison, which will hopefully be sooner than later.

Rob Kardashian & Blac Chyna Reportedly Living Together
Are Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna already living together?
Welp, that went from 0-100 real quick. Rumors began to float around the net a few days ago that Blac Chyna's latest conquest was none other than Rob Kardashian. Chyna posted an Instagram photo of the two, and while Rob isn't entirely visible in the photo, some quick internet sleuthing will tell you it's most definitely his tattoo-covered arm.
Following her IG post, Khloe Kardashian sent out some subliminal tweets which some thought were directed at the two-- "You can do anything. But never go against the family," she wrote, later clarifying it was in regards to someone bailing on her talk show, seemingly unaware of Rob's antics, she wrote after, "But hey, maybe my quote can go towards a few people today. Well now I know what all my family members are doing lol. Thanks Twitter."
The latest piece of gossip is that Rob and Chyna have shacked up together, for a good five days now. Apparently Rob made the first move on Chyna, via a DM two weeks ago. Sources say that Rob genuinely likes Chyna and isn't trying to go against the Kardashian clan-- although the clan is apparently upset anyways. The Kardashians are reportedly of the mindset that Chyna is manipulating Rob, who is currently depressed, and they think she's the one who made a play for him.

Chris Brown Won’t Face Charges In Las Vegas Battery Case
Chris Brown won’t be charged for allegedly “punching” a woman at a NYE after party.
Well it looks like Chris Brown won’t be charged in the case against the woman who accused him of “punching” her and taking her cellphone at an NYE after party at the Palms Casino Resort. According to Billboard, District Attorney Steve Wolfson said there wasn't enough evidence to seek misdemeanor battery and theft charges on Chris.
This shouldn’t be much of surprise as this was a money-hungry women & situation from the beginning. If you remember, Chris put her on blast for trying to stir up drama with Jason DeRulo back in August (see clip below). He even had plans to sue her to prevent such accusations in the future, but it’s unknown if that was followed through or not.

Blac Chyna Is Hooking Up With Rob Kardashian
Blac Chyna has finessed her way into the arms of Rob Kardashian.
Blac Chyna, a.k.a. Amber Rose's BFF, mother of Tyga's child, and hopeful mother of Future's child, has finessed her way into social media prominence. This morning, she shared to Instagram one of her greatest coups yet: Rob Kardashian.
Chyna posted a picture, captioned "The beginning," of her cuddled up with a heavily tatted arm. It didn't take long for her followers to identify the arm as that of Rob Kardashian, the mediaphobic brother of Kim Kardashian and half-brother of Kylie Jenner, who of course is dating Blac Chyna's former paramour Tyga.
Who got the better end of this deal: Blac Chyna or Rob Kardashian?

Z aka Zeus Releases Single/Snippet "Supreme Being"
Z aka Zeus makes his return with a single for his follow up to his last mix-tape “Ordained”! He makes his latest return with “Supreme Being”! A snippet for the sequel. The track was released on sound cloud, but already proceeds to make a Impact as Z’s brand rises. Representing and displaying his Tennessee roots more specifically (L-Town)!
Ordained was surprisingly a very developed project coming from the local artist; However, his breakout singles, “Powder” & “$wish” guarantee promising music on his follow up “Ordained 2”! We definitely recommend people keeping a eye on this artist as he makes his rise up the ladder!
Danny Brown Hints At New Album, Lists Favorite Projects From Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar & Young Thug
The rapper also gives an update on his upcoming follow-up to "OLD".
Danny Brown has been quiet for a minute, but it seems he may have something big planned for 2016. The rapper, whose last project was 2013's two-faced opus, OLD, granted fans a Q&A on Twitter, answering questions both as an artist and a fan.
The rapper hinted at a new album, which he seemed to be preparing to promote sometime soon. He also confirmed that the structure of the project would be much different from the two very distinct sides of OLD, promising the album is "all fucked up" in terms of sequencing.
Danny also answered some questions about his favorite albums from a few different artist, reporting that his go-to Ye albums are Late Registration and Yeezus, while he prefers Section.80 to Kendrick Lamar's other work. As for Young Thug, who Brown has been praising for a while now, he picked early fan favorite I Came From Nothing 2 as the rapper's best.
Always having his ear to other genres, Danny named Sufjan Stevens' tribute to his parents, Carrie & Lowell and Natalie Prass' self-titled album as his top picks for 2015, going on to praise Sufjan's very personal songwriting.
Elsewhere he credits Sauce Twinz with his favorite rap of the year, praises Macklemore's "White Privilege II," and says he "laughed real hard" at Kid Cudi's last album.
He closes things off by answering a fan's question about his Twitter activity, wondering if the Q&A meant the album was on its way. The rapper replied, "Nah I was just bored on the plane". We're still holding out hope.

Meek Mill Has Enrolled In College
Meek Mill announced plans to further his education while visiting a Philly high school.
Meek Mill just donated $50,000 to the people of Flint, MI who don't have access to clean water, and he may have inspired 50 Cent, with whom he's currently sparring, to do the same. Today, the Philly rapper made another admirable move, as he announced that he has enrolled in college.
Meek showed up today at Overbrook High School in West Philadelphia and revealed his plans to get his college degree, while encouraging the student body to do the same. Watch him make the announcement, which is met with enthusiastic applause, below, courtesy of DJ Akademiks.

Young Dro Reportedly Arrested On Drug Charges
Young Dro was reportedly arrested Thursday on drug charges.
A day after releasing a new video for his song “Hustle Gang,” ATL rapper Young Dro has reportedly found himself in trouble with the law. According to TMZ, Dro was arrested earlier today (1/21) in Georgia on drug charges for violating the controlled substance act.
While it’s unknown what the actual substance was that Dro had, it’s being reported that he will remain in custody until at least tomorrow morning when he has his bond hearing. Hope you weren’t planning on seeing him live tonight in Hollywood.
Kanye West Hits Studio With Swizz Beatz & Kendrick Lamar
Kanye West was posted up in the studio with a couple of G.O.O.D. friends.
Last week we received our G.O.O.D. Friday release a tad late, because Kanye West jetted off to Italy for a Yeezy Season 3 fitting. This Friday, though, all signs are pointing to the fact that we should receive our G.O.O.D. Friday record on time, if only because Kanye was hard at work in the studio last night.
The rapper took to Twitter to share a photo of Swizz Beatz seated in front of a mic and a laptop, captioning it, "the monster." CyHi The Prynce followed suit with his own share of a studio pic, as did Swizz on Instagram. Oh yeah, Kanye also shared a photo with Kendrick Lamar, citing that Madlib gave them "6 beat CDs."

Lil Wayne & Birdman Spotted In Studio With Yo Gotti
Birdman and Lil Wayne hit the studio together last night.
With Birdman and Lil Wayne putting their beef behind them, it was only a matter of time before they hit the studio together. There were rumblings that the two had made up after they celebrated New Year's Eve together, and later, they partied/announced their reconciliation at Club LIV. Next stop, studio.
Birdman posted a photo of the two, plus "Down in the DMs" connoisseur, Yo Gotti, in the studio last night. He captioned the photo "studio flow" followed by ample hashtags, notably including #YMCMB4LIFE (and also: #blatt).
DJ Drama Is Adamant He Did Not Leak Drake Reference Track
DJ Drama says he's not the person who leaked the Drake/Quentin Miller reference track.
Quentin Miller was thrusted into the rap limelight this past summer, when his name was dragged into the now-infamous Meek Mill and Drake ghostwriting beef. It happened to jump-start his personal rap career, though (perhaps to the ire of those he'd previously been ghostwriting for), and he's since released multiple records.
While Drake came out basically unscathed from the rap beef, there was still the matter of Quentin Miller's leaked reference track, however for the most part, that's been pushed to the back of our minds. It was a hot topic for a minute though, with Funk Flex being the one who aired it, but ultimately, fingers pointing to DJ Drama as the leaker. By fingers pointing, I mean DJ Drama's ex-wife.
The Gangsta Grillz host has now gone on record to deny leaking Drake's reference track while talking to Elliott Wilson and B. Dot during the RapRadar podcast.
"I definitely am not no leaker of no records," he tells them. "The records that I put out, I put out records that people give me blessings to put out. I gotta lay that to rest. None of that shit was from me."
He continued to expand, "My thing more than anything in what we've learned from the whole thing is how powerful social media is. It's like The Force. It can be used for the Dark Side or it can be used for the Good Side. With respect to those guys, that's not really my story to tell. They're gonna have to tell that story. They're gonna have to come and say what it was."

Blatant Rip Off Of Yeezy Boost 750 Created By Zara
Zara, the king of fashion imitators, is at it again.
Kanye West’s Yeezy Boost line is wildly successful, so imitators were soon to follow no matter what. However, we couldn’t have expected this blatant of an imitation.
The anti-Yeezy shown here have the same super high top cut, lacing style and ribbed midsole. The overall silhouette is also undeniably recognizable. Unlike the most recent Yeezy Boost 750, this one at least has a contrasting midsole color and different material on the toe cap. The two sneakers' similarities far outweigh the differencew, however.
Authenticity and biting are always hot topics in the rap world, but in fashion it’s almost expected. Zara, H&M and other “fast fashion” chains have made a killing in the retail world by creating cheaper versions of the high-priced items celebrities and models wear, and the imitations are usually thinly veiled. It sounds shady, but from a consumer perspective the imitators’ offerings start to look pretty appealing when you consider the price tag.
If Zara gets more flak for this sneaker than the rest of their catalog, but it’ll be because the product they’re imitating is more recognizable than a simple sweatshirt or t-shirt. But will the notoriously fickle Yeezus respond? It remains to be seen, as these kicks have yet to hit any shelves.
